Interaction of metal ions, Mn2+ and Ni2+, with calcineurin
【摘要】 <正> Calcineurin(CaN,EC 3.1.3.16)is the only known calcium/calmodulin-dependentphosphoprotein phosphatase.The molecular weight of holoenzyme is 80ku;the largesubunit A(61 ku)is the catalytic subunit;the small subunit B(19ku)is the regulatorysubunit and similar to calmodulin.The phosphatase activity of CaN is divalent-cations-dependent,Mn2+ and Ni2+ can activate the enzyme to the highest level.Since Mn2+
