【Abstract】 This paper discusses the application of knowledge base system technique in the knowledge Processing for process planning .A rule based knowledge base system is developed as one part of the CAPP systen for aircraft structural parts actually in profitable use for the CIMS project in a manufacturing company.With object oriented methodology and data base technique, a knowledge representation method for process planning is proposed and a knowledge base system structure built on top of data base management system is presented. We believe that the knowledge base management system for process planning will be served as a tool for development of CAPP systems and turn out a significantly more efficient CAPP software.更多还原
