【Abstract】 Addition of alloying element Mn to Fe3Al improves the room ductility. As amount of Mn increases(0~1. 5at%),the room ductility of Fe3Al increases. 1. 5at% Mn can improve singnificantly both strength and ductility. The dislocation observed are mainly single ones and super-lattice ones of a= <111> with NNAPB in the deformed specimens of Fe3Al containing Mn. Deformation is controlled by single dislocations motion. The room fracture mode of Fe3Al containing Mn is transgranular cleavage
