【Abstract】 The fine structure of the taste organ in Sinipeca chuatsi was studied by electron microscopy. The results showed that there was synaptic contact between gustatory cells and nerve endings;the synapses of taste organ of Sinipeca chuatsi had the structural characteristics of chemical synapse.
