【Abstract】 Survey data was used in this study on the characteristics of water exchange andself purification in Dingzi Bay showing that: (1 ) The Dingzi my tides are regular semi-diurnal, the reciprocal current was the main component of tidal current. (2) On the average, the exchange rate of water inside and outside the bay over a tidal cycle was about 13. 85%, it tookaround 17 tidal cycles (roughly equal to 8. 5 days) for half of the original water inside the hey tobe exchanged with that outside the bay.更多还原
