【Abstract】 The article briefly intreduced experimental methods and clinical application of polymerase chain reaction(PCR)being used to detect chlamydia trachomatis(CT)in patients which were infected with cervicitis.By this means,CT infectionswere diagnosed in 51 cases of 122 nongonococcal cervicitis specimens(the positive rate was 41.8%)and in 29 of 96 gonococcal cervicitis specimens(the positive rate was 30.2%).The results indicated that PCR is more specific and sensitive.更多还原
