【Abstract】 The product of the reaction of 3 nitro 4 bromo 1,8 naphthalic anhydride with hexylamine in ethanol is N hexyl 3 nitro 4 hexylamino 1,8 naphthylimide.This result shows that a bromo group in 4 position becomes very reactive due to an electron drawing nitro group on β position of the anhydride which is therefore capable of reacting with hexylamine easily,even in the absence of copper catalyst and under ordinary pressure.更多还原
