44GeV或18GeV 12C离子轰击Cu靶或Pb靶时中子产额的研究
Neutron yields in interactions of 44GeV or 18GeV  ̄(12)C ions with Cu or Pb targets
【摘要】 用CR-39迭层探测器测量了44GeV或18GeV12C离子轰击Cu靶或Pb靶时中子产额与入射粒子能量以及靶核质量的关系。当入射能量由18GeV增至44GeV时,Cu靶的中子产额增大2.12±0.19倍,Pb靶的中子产额增大2.04±0.15倍。Pb靶和Cu靶中子产额之比在44GeV和18GeV分别为2.54±0.20和2.56±0.20。
【Abstract】 The dependences of neutron yield on incident energy and atomic mass of the target have been studied by bombardment of 44GeV or 18GeV 12C ions with Cu or Phtargets. The CR-39 stacks are used to detect fast neutrons. The neutron yield ratios obtained for 44GeV and 18GeV are 2.12± 0.19(Cu target) and 2.04±0.15(Pb target).The neutron yield ratios obtained for Ph and Cu target are 2.54±0.20(44GeV) and 2.56 ± 0.20(18GeV), showing that Pb target produces more neutrons than Cu target in the same conditions.
