位置灵敏正比计数器性能研究及其对同步辐射光光强分布的测量
Study on Characteristics of Position-Sensitive Proportional Counter andthe McMaSurement of Intensity Distribution of Synchrotron Radiation
【摘要】 我们对Bakgammon型高气压流气式位置灵敏正比计数管的基本性能进行了研究。结果表明,其位置分辨率约为100μm;线性良好,在计数器中部47.5、40和30mm范围内,位置线性均方误差分别为76、47.3和11.6μm;对铁、铜和锌特征X射线的绝对探测效率分别为68.5%、59.9%和52.4%,与理论计算值相符,在整个探测器长度上探测效率分布比较均匀;与移动平台等构成的探测系统的重复定位精度好于10μm。在此基础上,测量了高能物理所同步辐射实验室4W1C漫散射站聚焦单能X射线的光强分布。
【Abstract】 In this paper we studied the basic characteristics of a backgammon type high presure gas flow position-sensitive proportional counter(PSPC ).The results showed that the PSPC had good positon linearity,themean error were 76,47.3 and 11.6μm within the central area of 47.5,40 and 30 cm. The positional resolu-tion of the PSPC was about 100μm.Its measuremented detective efficiency for the characteristic X-rayfrom Fe,Cu and Zn were 68.5%、59. 9%and 52. 4%respectively,which were well accorded with the theo-retical values.We also discribed the application of PSPC in testing the intensity distribution of synchrotron ra-diation.(
