用于行波分幅的大功率皮秒高压电脉冲的产生
GENERATION OF HIGH VOLTAGE PICOSECOND ELECTRICAL PULSE FOR GATING MCP
【摘要】 针对行波分幅相机的要求,用纯电子学线路产生了幅度2.1kV、宽度210ps的高压皮秒脉冲,并将其用于行波分幅相机作为MCP的选通脉冲,获得了60ps的时间分辨率。
【Abstract】 An avalanche diode pulse shaping circuit was developed to generate high voltage picosecondelectrical pulse for MCP gating.The parameters and structure of the circuit were designed to fit theMCP gating tube,An electrical pulse of amplitude 2.lkV and width 210 ps was generated with thecircuit and was applied to the MCP gating tube along with a reverse bias.The resultant exposure timewas measured 60ps. To the gating pulse,its amplitude and width determined the output gain of theMCP gating framing camera,and its width determined the exposure time. Considering the shortestexposure time is given by the electron transit tin1e and its dispersion of MCP and the workingfrequency band is limited,a suitable pulse should be chosen to fit the designed exposure time andworking frequency band of MCP gating tube,to avoid seriously gain dropping.
