中国大陆卫星反演云参数的评估

【摘要】 该文选取1983年7月和1984年1月分别代表夏季和冬季,利用中国地面气象月报的云量资料以及多年平均的地面观测云气候资料,与中国大陆地区ISCCP卫星反演的云量和云状资料进行了对比分析。结果表明:月平均总云量的分布形势,卫星反演与地面观测结果相当一致,相对多云和少云中心位置吻合较好;但两种观测结果的云量值存在差异,卫星反演结果普遍偏低,冬季比夏季更明显,清晨比正午更明显;青藏高原东北部、云贵高原以及天山附近地区偏差较显著。参照大气环流和云天气气候特征,从卫星得到的云状是比较合理的,但干旱沙漠地区高云量估计不足,低云估计偏多。

【Abstract】 In this paper, the ISCCP cloud amounts and cloud types for July 1983 and January 1984 are compared to the observations of cloud derived from Chinese weather stations and to the cloud climatology given by Hahn et al. The results show that the geographic distribution of the ISCCP monthly mean cloud amount is agreeable well to that from surface observation. The locations of more cloud and less cloud centres by two kinds of observation are close. However, differences in magnitude between the ISCCP data and the surface observations still exist. The ISCCP cloud amount is generally lower than the surface observations. The underestimates are more obvious in winter than in summer and at early morning than at noon. The disagreements are lareger over the northwest of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, the Yun-Gui Plateau and the area around Tian Shan mountains. Comparisons of the ISCCP cloud types with the cloud climatology given by Hahn et al. suggests that the ISCCP results are basically reasonable. But the high level clouds are underestimated and the low level clouds are overestimated over some desert regions.
