半导体激光器与单模光纤耦合实验研究

【摘要】 报道运用廉价的模压非球面透镜耦合系统对半导体激光器与单模光纤耦合进行实验研究,耦合效率达33%.容差较大.该结果应用于EDFA,获得了17dB的净增益。这一系统适用于0.67μm、0.98μm、1.48μm、0.8μm泵浦的EDFA以及LD与SMF的耦合实际系统.

【Abstract】 The coupling efficiency between LD and SMF is studied whick a pair of aspheric lens is used. A. maximum coupling efficiency of 33% is achieved with large permissible displace. The results are applied to EDFA. A net small signal gain of 17dB is measured. The experimental setup is suitable for EDFA pumped by laser diode at 0. 6~1. 5μm.
