【Abstract】 The numerical calculating method of refractive index profile in optical waveguides is discussed. By using this method, the two dimensional distribution or line distribution along x, y direction of refractive-index difference can be obtained based on the output pattern of optical waveguides. The measured result of the index difference profile of a Ti:LiNbO3 waveguide in the direction perpendicular to the substrate surface is given.更多还原
