【Abstract】 The modified finite-difference beam propagation method employing ab- sorbing condition is developed to calculate the optical waveguides with large discon- tinuities along the direction of the propagation.The accuracy of this method is in- vestigated through a study of a directional coupler.Both the coupling length and the field distribution are in good agreement with the results in the literatures.更多还原
