【Abstract】 Structural design is an important aspect of mechanical product design process.Implementation of intelligent structural design can not only shorten the product development cycle,but also cut the cost and improve the quality. Expert system is one of the intelligent design techniques. This paper discusses some key techniques in structural design expert system.It mainly includes the system control strategy,an objectoriented knowledge representing method and concurrent design in structural design.
