【Abstract】 A large osteoarticular defects was produced on 16 New Zealand rabbits. The gaps were filled by segmen-tal demineralized osteoarticular allograft (SDOA) together with vascularized periosteum autograft (VPA). Results were as follows: (1) The combination of SDOA and VPA produce a good functional new bone. The length of the new bone,however,was shorter than the original defects (P<0. 01).
