【Abstract】 The possibility of using limulus tests to detect pyrogen in metronidazole injectionwas investigated by interfering-test and compared with the rabbit pyrogenic test. The resultssuggest that the limulus test is not interfered by the test samples, and could substitute for the rab-bit pyrogen test. This will make it possible for more than 90% of metronidazole injection samplesnot need to be detected with the complex and time-consuming rabbit pyrogenic test.更多还原
