硫酸铈剂量计电位测量法的研究
STUDY FOR POTENTIOMETRIC ESTIMATION OF ROUTINE HIGH DOSE WITH THE CERIC-CEROUS DOSIMETER
【摘要】 对硫酸铈剂量计电位测量法进行了研究。辐照前后剂量计溶液中Ce4+-Ce3+体系电位的变化(△E)被用来度量该体系的吸收剂量,从而取代了分光光度法繁杂的操作程序。在10kGy~20kGy范围内的研究结果显示,电位测量法使用未经特殊处理的辐照容器和用普通蒸馏水配制的剂量计溶液,其测量结果与Fricke剂量计的测量结果在4.5%以内符合。该方法无需稀释,所使用的电极和酸度计都是普通化学实验室中常见的,因而特别适用于辐射加工常规剂量测量。
【Abstract】 The method for potentiometric estimation of megarad dose with the ceric-cerous dosimetry system has been discussed in this paper. The difference in electrochemical potential between irradiated and unirradiated solution was used for the measurement of absorbed dose instead of the complex spectrophotometric procedure. Results for the doses ranging from 10 to 20 kGy are presented that the data obtain from the potentiometry with single distilled water and container without special cleaning are agreement within 4.5% with that from the Fricke system. Since electrodes and a pH meter used in the method are very popular in a common chemical laboratory and dilution is not required on the eerie-cerous dosimeter solution,the potentiometry of the ceric-cerous system is very suitable for routine dose measurement on radiation processing.
