【Abstract】 ajor elements such as Ti,V,Zr,Mn andminor elements such as Si,Fe,Mg in alumini-um alloys were determined rapidly by ICP-AES.The optimum operating conditions werechosen by the orthogonal design. Interferencetests were carried out for matrix aluminum,nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. The recoveryand the results of comparison with differentmethods as well as standard data were satis-factory.
