【Abstract】 In this report 20 cases of simple children obesity (SCO) patients with degrees of obesity 44-116 per cent were studied. The disease produced a great impact of circulation system including increased blood volume, cardiac output and raised blood pressure. The left ventricular volume and pressure were more tending to increase than normal children. The left ventricular my-ocardial weight increased proportionally with the increase of body weight. The SCO children had arrythmia. The echocardiographic characteristics included thickeing of left ventricular wall, enlargement of left ventricular capacity and reduced left ventricular function. The changes were closely related to degree of obesity and more obvious in severe obesity. The echocardiography was more helpful to research the SCO disease.更多还原
