【Abstract】 The morphology and crystal structure of a precipitate,X phase,in rapidly solidified CuZnAlMnNi shape memory alloy doped by trace etoment Ti were studied by using TEM and SEM.It was found that with decreasing cooling rate of rapid solidification,the morphology of X phase appears in turn in the shape of ball,cube and plum blossor.Furthermore,plum blossor petals grow in the 〈111〉 direction of cubic lattice.
