【Abstract】 The principle of open looP linearlzation of tuning chsracteristic of millimeter wave VCO is discussed, and an analogue breakpoint linearizer is used to linearize the tuning characteristic of a 35GHz VCO. Experimental results indicate that the tuning nonlinearity is of less thsn 1% with a tuning range of 120 MHz and an output power is of no less than 60 mW.
