虚阴极振荡在谐振腔中激励微波的理论分析
Analysis on Microwave Excited by Virtual Cathode Oscillation in Cavity
【摘要】 文中将虚阴极看作一个带电圆盘,用场的模式展开方法讨论了虚阴极振荡在谱振腔中对微波的激励,得到了微波频率、模式与虚阴极振荡的关系。结果表明,在谐振腔较长时容易得到单一频率成分微波,这与试验结果一致。分析还表明,特征频率越接近虚阴极振荡频率的模式,其展开系数就越大。
【Abstract】 Microwave excited by virtual cathode(VC) oscillation in a cylindrical cavity is analyzed in this paper. VC is regarded as a oscillating charged disk. By means of model expansion method,the relation between microwave frequency and VC oscillation in a specific cylindrical cavity is obtained. The expressions of mode expansion coefficients are derived. The results show that at longer cavity length, the microwave excited is more pure,which is in good agreement with experiment,results.Analysis confirms that the closer the characteristic frequency of a mode is to the oscillating frequency of VC,the larger the mode expansion coefficient is.
