【Abstract】 One of the basic experiences in predicting strong earthquakes by crustal deformation data is that the earthquakes are liable to occur along the high-gradient deformation zone. In this paper, the specific methods for calculating and charting the gradient map of vertical crustal deformation rate are introduced and proposed, which mainly include the mesh method, function-fitting method and graphical method. In addition, the characteristics and applicability of these methods are discussed and the "Map of Vertical Crustal Deformation Rate Gradient in China" charted by graphical method is given in the paper.更多还原
