带有温度补偿的法拉第磁场传感器
Faraday-effect Magnetometry with Compensation for Temperature
【摘要】 提出了一种在法拉第磁场传感器中,同时独立地测量温度和磁场的方法.温度的干涉相角测量与感应磁场干涉条纹对比度调制的结合是该方法的核心,这种方法基于马赫一泽德尔干涉结构使用顺磁材料FR—5作为传感元件,并利用光纤连结可实现远方操作.文中证明该方法能补偿随温度变化的费尔德常数,以确保磁场测量的精确度.
【Abstract】 A technique for simultaneous independent measurement of temperature and magnetic field in a Faraday-effect magnetometer is presented.The technique is based on interferometric phase measurement of temperature combined with magnetic-field-induced visbility modulation of the in ieterferometric fringes. The technique is demonstrated using a paramagnetic FR-5 sensing element in a Mach-Zehnder configuration. The optical configuration is shown to be capable of remote operation using fiber-optic links. The measurement of temperature is shown to enable compensation of the scale factor for the temperature dependent Verdet constant.
