晚石炭世腕足动物部分属的两极分布及其意义

【摘要】 根据7个属产地及层位分析,证明晚石炭世腕足动物存在两极分布现象。认为古生物地理大区的混生区是这些两极分布的凉水型分子的起源地,即混生区起源。两极分布的分子具有快的迁移速度,推测凉(冷)水洋流的携带作用是这些凉水分子散布的主要途径。简要叙述了两极分布的性质及在古生物地理区研究中的意义,从另一角度验证了古生物地理区的形成机制──环境控制论的合理性。

【Abstract】 The phenomenon of bipolar distribution in late Carboniferous based on brachiopod isverified through the analyses of 7 genera. Place of origin for these genera which belong to bipolar distribution may be the mixed livingarea(or zone)between two realms.The migration of these genera of bipolar distribution is very quick. Carrying of cool-water ocean currents may be the most important channel for these brachiopods of bipolardistribution,The nature about bipolar distribution and the application of bipolar distribution to palaeobiogeography have been discussed in this paper,The environmental control hypothesis,the mechanism of formation on the palaeobiogeographic province of late Carboniferous brachiopod,is reasonable according to the study of bipolar distributions.
