【Abstract】 This paper presents the indepth analyses and comparisons among the three types of the continual ratio symbols and the non- ratio gradating symbols which are applied to indicate the quantitatiue features of the point distribu-tions of the objects,their special featurs and suitable conditions are pointed,Some correct and improved methods combined with samples for using these symbols are provided.
