【Abstract】 From April, May, August, to December 1993, and from January to April 1994, the all day behavior of captive Hazel grouse was observed. A total of 512hr. was spent. The results are summarized as follows: Feeding, walking, resting, and preening were the major activities of Hazel Grouse. Feeding was highest in December. Walking was highest in April for female and September for male. Resting was highest in January. Preening was highest in August. Attacking and courtship only appeared in breeding period. The daily activities of the Hazel Grouse have three peaks which occured in the morning (5: 00-8: 00), near the midday (10:00 - 11: 00) and at dusk (15: 00-19: 00) in April, May, August, September and October. But November to March of the next year only two peaks were found which occured in the morning (8: 00-11: 00) and at dusk (15:00-17:00). The daily feeding activities of the Hazel grouse have two peaks which occured in the morning (8: 00-10: 00) and at dusk (14: 00-17: 00). But three peaks were found in other months.更多还原
