【摘要】 环颈雉（Ｐｈａｓｉａｎｕｓ　ｃｏｌｃｈｉｃｕｓ）求偶炫耀有四种常见类型，即点头炫耀、侧炫耀、振翅鸣叫和追逐．各种类型求偶活动的强度存在着显著的个体差异．剪尾和缩短距长都可使雄鸟的求偶频率下降．雌雉选择配偶受雄鸟所在笼舍条件及雄鸟某些身体特征的影响：条件较好的笼舍中的雄鸟往往具有较多的配偶；剪短雄鸟的尾羽对雌鸟的配偶选择无明显影响；而缩短距长则对雌鸟的择偶产生十分显著的影响，导致雄鸟配数的大幅度减少．更多还原

【Abstract】 Four kinds of courtship display of ring-necked pheasants, Phasianus colchcus, were identified in this study, e. g. nodding, lateral display, wing flapping and chasing. The frequency of each kindof displays varied with the birds. The decrease of the frequency of male displays could be made either by cutting the male’s tail or by shortening its spurs. Female’s mate choice were influenced by both the cage conditions and the quality of the cocks. The cocks that live in better cages could attract more hens to mate with them. To cut the male’s tail showed no obvious effects on the selection of the females. However, the female’s choice was influenced significantly by shortening the male’s spurs, which resulted in the decrease of the harem size of the male.更多还原
