【Abstract】 The property of phenolic resin matrix friction materials reinforced with various types of glass fibers,reinforced with glass fiber and modified with rubber .reinforced with glass fiber and modified with melamine etc. and reinforced with hybrid of glass fiber with polyacrylonitrile fiber has been studied and analysized to counter the problem existing in phenolic resin matrix friction materials reinforced with fiber.
