【摘要】 西瓜原产于非洲,经古代苏丹和古埃及栽培后,传播到古希腊和古罗马帝国并在罗马帝国范围内普及.大约在隋唐时期,西瓜经伊拉克、伊朗、阿富汗传入我国新疆地区,然后由契丹从回纥引种,金国又从契丹引种,最后在南宋时期传入中原地区.南宋时期长江流域掌握了当时较先进的西瓜种植技术,至元代西瓜栽培技术已经很成熟,文献中对西瓜的栽培管理和南北方瓜的味道差异,都有详细的描述.清代西瓜的栽培技术有了进一步发展,种植面积扩大到全国.西瓜传入中国后,在漫长的栽培发展中,形成了众多的西瓜历史名产地和一大枇优良西瓜品种.更多还原

【Abstract】 The place of origin of watermelons is in Africa.Having cultivated in ancient Sudan and Egypt,watermelons are propagated into the ancient Greece and the Roman Empire and pop- ularized within the scope of the Roman Empire.Approximately in the Sui Tang Dynasties time watermelons are propagated into the Xinjiang region of China through Iraq,Iran, Afghanistan.Then watermelons are introduced from Huihe into Qidan,and then introduced from Qidan into Jinguo,watermelons are introduced finally into the Central Plains in the Southern Song Dynasty time.Advanced planting watermelons techniques at that time are mastered in the Changjiang River valley at the Southern Song Dynasty time.Planting wa- termclons techniques are quite mature at the Yuan Dynasty time,the cultivation management of watermelons and the taste difference of watermelons between south and north are de- scribed in detail.Planting watermelons techniques are further advanced at Qing Dynasty time,the planting area of watermelons is expanded into the whole of China (except Xizang). At the long time of cultivation development of watermelons after being introduced into Chi- na,many the famous places of watermelons production are formed in history,and a great number of the variety of excellent watermelons are formed.更多还原
