【Abstract】 The clinical and radiologic manifestations of 47 cases of esophageal com-pression caused by cervical spondylosis were analysed. This entity is not uncom-mon, dysphagia may or may not present. The mechanism causing dysphagia in-cludes mechanical compression of the esophagus by osteophytes or anterior bulgingof intervertebral disc, and impaired nervous function. The diagnosis must be basedon clinical symptoms,radiologic findings of cervical spondylosis and posterior com-pression of esophagus, and exclusion of dysphagia resulted from other causes.更多还原
