【Abstract】 A novel immunosuppressant, kanglemycin C was isolated from the culturefiltrate of a Nocardia strain,Nocardia mediterranei var Kanglensis 1747-64. The antibiotic wasextracted with ethyl acetate, purified by column chromatography using silica gel andSephadex LH-20 successively , and finaliy crystallized by methanol as yellow needle crystals.The molecular formular was determined to be C19H18O5(molecular weight 326). The antibi-otic was weakly active against Gram-positive bacteria and potent immunosuppressive andantitumor activities in vitro.更多还原
