钛和氘化钛的电子谱特征
THE STUDY OF Ti AND TiD BY ELECTRON SPECTROSCOPY
【摘要】 在SKL-12型多功能谱仪上进行了纯钛和氘化钛(TiD1.7)能量损失谱(ELS)和X射线光电子谱(XPS)的研究。实验发现,氘化钛的等离激元的能量增加,并且其Ti2p1/2,2p3/2能级的结合能增大。氘化钛较之纯钛其费米能级以下5~11eV出现一新的能态。以上结果表明:氘原子的电子在氘化钛中的行为类似自由电子,同时,钛与氘之间发生电荷转移,电子转移的方向为Ti→D。
【Abstract】 The surface of Ti and TiD1.7 were characterized mainly by energy loss spectroscopy(ELS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). A new featllre in valence band of the titanium deuteride shown by ELS and XPS can be interpreted as the changes in the valence band because of the presence of deuterium in the titanium interstices. Compared with the Ti, the plasmon loses energies of TiD shift which indicate the in-crease of free elctrons released from deuterium. Shifts of Ti 2p core levels also indicate that the electronstransfer from Ti to D.
