Synthesis and Langmuir-Blodgett film-forming properties of lanthanide complexes containing hemicyanines with different alkyl chain lengths

【摘要】 <正> Three lanthanide complexes, (E)-N-n-alkyl-4-(2-(4-dimethylamino-phenyl) ethenyl) pyridinium tetrakis (1-phenyl-3-methvl-4-tenzoyl-5-pyrazolonato)dysprosium (Ⅲ) (in which n = 16, 12 and 4), have been synthesized. Their Langmuir-Blodgett film-forming properties, UV-Vis spectra and the second-order nonlinearity of LB films have been investigated. The introduction of the dysprosium complexes into the hemicyanine systems obviously improved film-forming properties and enhanced the second-order nonlinearity.
