【Abstract】 An analysis is made on working principle of ovoid gear machining on NC machine tool with gear shaping cutter. Here, we have derived the formulas for calculating fredom arc length of pitch curve of ovoid gear and the increamental values of the integrated three motions. An example of calculations is given.
