【Abstract】 Forty cases with essential hypertension in elderly were treated with amlodipine 5～10mg／d for four weeks,The results showed that marked effective rate was 55％,effective rate was 32.5％ and total effective rate was 87.5％.No severe adverse effects were found in the course of treatment. Amlodipine may be used as one of the first choice drug in treatment of essential hypertension in elderly.更多还原
