【Abstract】 The sterility and outcrossing characteristics of three new cytoplasmic male sterile(CMS) lines with japonica-cytoplasm-indica-nucleus were studied.The results show thatthe sterile pollen components of these CMS lines are similar to that of Zhen Shan 97A,awild abortion(WA)CMS line as a check line. Whereas ,their neck-node unemergedpercentage and unemerged spikelet rate are significantly lower than that of Zhen Shan97A. Moreover,their flowering behavior is different from that of Zhen Shan 97A. Wesuggest that such a difference be a result of the effect of the K-type cytoplasm.更多还原
