【Abstract】 This paper compares the change of child-rearing attitudes and ideas between the grandfather and the father in Shanghai. The results showed:There was a higher degree of intergenerational consensus in the child’s nature, the factors which determine the development of the child and expectancy of the Child’s personality characteristics.In terms of the traditional level of the behavioral training of the child and filial piety,the grandfather did better than the father. The level of education affected the traditional ideas of the grandfather and the father. The child rearing attitudes and ideas of younger fathers in Shanghai and Hong Kong more clearly depart from the tradition and tend to be similar.更多还原
