【Abstract】 Higher alkyl methacrylates are main raw materials for preparatiojn of pour point depressants of wax-bearing crude oil. The synthesis of octadecyl methacrylate was reported.The influence of reaction factors,such as ratio of acid to alcohol,amount of catalyst, time and temperature of the reaction on the esterification was investigated. on the basisof the experiments, the optimum conditions were given. The result is useful for synthesisof other higher alkyl methacrylates.更多还原
