【Abstract】 The author balanced and analysed in the paper the entrance examination and graduation examination of class 88and class 89 of P. E. department in Xi’an P. E. Institute by adopting mathematical statistics. The result shows that the main factors which affect development of students’ practical level are the curricula design which tends to liberal arts and the arrangement of examination time which isn’t rational in Xi’an P.
