【Abstract】 This article raises an objection to the traditional views on the principal characteristics of the Mohist political thought in China’s academic circles. The author argues that Mohism is a conditional autocratic monarchy rather than an absolute one. He emphasizes that Mohist autocratic monarchy means none of progress.
