【Abstract】 In this paper, two new results are proved:（1）T₁ perfect weak δθ-refinablespaces are hereditarily irreducible. This result answers affirmatively the problem 3 posed by thearthor.（2）Countably compact maps, whether closed or open, preserve point-countable base,Itfollows thereby that every space in Arhangel’skii’s class MOBI is irreducible.
