【Abstract】 n the present paper,a fast and accurate gas chromatographic method was used in place of the complexconventional procedures,such as, hydrolysis and titration to determine the conjugated diene content inpetroleum products,The analysis time was reduced by 4/5～5/6. The reaction degree and reaction conditionsof the diene synthesis in the use of iodine and aluminium chloride as catalyst were studied.
