HBA/PET/HQ—TPA液晶共聚芳酯的合成与表征

【摘要】 采用熔融缩聚方法合成了HBA/PET及HBA/PET/HQ-TPA液晶共聚酯.应用DSC,偏光显微镜等对共聚酯性能进行了表征.结果表明:加入第三单体后,可以改善二元聚酯HBA/PET的共聚反应条件,并且所有样品均具有较大的特性粘度,较小的熔融热焓.二元体系的玻璃化转变较明显,加入第三单体后的三元共聚体系玻璃化转变消失,并且随着第三单体含量的增加,共聚酯熔点上升.对于所有的共聚酯样品,在较宽的温度范围内加热熔融再骤冷所得到的液晶玻璃态样品,在正交偏光显微镜下均显示典型的向列液晶织态结构.

【Abstract】 In this paper liquid crystalline copolyester HBA/PET and HBA/PET/HQ-TPA were synthesized by using melt-polyconden-sation method and characterized by DSC and polarizing microscope. The results showed that the addition of the third monomer HQ-TPA could make the reaction condition much moderate, and all of the samples had much higher intrinsic viscosity values and much less Hm values. The HBA/PET system had an apparent Tg transition , but for HBA/PET/HQ-TPA system , the Tg transition became unclear and Tm increased as the third monomer content increased. The quenching samples at a wide range of temperature had a typical nematic liquid crystalline texture under polatizing microscope.
