应用花药培养选育适应上海生态环境的粳稻光敏核不育系

【摘要】 1990年以粳型光敏核不育系7001S、5047S、5088S、农垦58S为母本,常规粳稻品种或高代品系为父本配制杂种F1,翌年进行花药培养,获得二倍体花粉植株群体。各组合(PGMSR/粳稻)F1的花粉植株在海南岛短日条件下育性正常。在上海自然长日条件下育性表现明显的分离,不育与可育花粉植株之比符合1:3。(PGMSR/粳稻)各组合杂种F1的自交F2群体在上海自然长日条件下不育株与可育株分离比符合1:15。表明粳型光敏核不育水稻雄性不育性受控于2对隐性主效基因。从这些杂种F1花药培养后代群体中选育出15个农艺性状较好,具有明显的育性转换期的光敏核不育花粉株系。分期播种后,大多数于8月上中旬始穗,9月2~9日从不育转为可育,不育期长,不育期内不育性彻底。在上海可以安全制种和繁殖,并具有矮秆、株型较佳、抗稻瘟病和白叶枯病等优点,为利用亚种间杂种优势提供了优良种质。这也表明花药培养是研究光敏核不育水稻雄性不育性遗传及转育光敏核不育基因,快速选育适应上海生态环境的粳型光敏核不育系的有效方法。

【Abstract】 The hybrids F1 between photoperiod-sensitive genic male sterile rice(PGMSR)lines and japonica rice varieties were bred in 1990. The fertility segregation in 17 hybrids F2 populations derived from (PGMSR/japonica variety)F1 and 9 homozygous diploid pollen plant populations generated through in vitro anther culture of PGMSR-japonica F1 hybrids was observed to study inheritance of photoperiod-sensitive genie male-sterile genes under natural day length condition in Shanghai. The results showed that ratio of sterile plants to fertile plants in (PGMSR/japonica variety)F2 and anther-derived populations (H2)was 1:15 and 1:3,respectively. The photoperiod-sensitive genie male sterility in PGMSR was governed by two pairs of independent major recessive genes.New elite japonica photoperiodsensitive genie male sterile lines with excellent agronomic traits,resistance to blast and bacterial leaf blight, significant fertility transformation and stable complete sterility during sterile period from the first ten-day of August to the first ten-day of September,have been selected and developed from homozygous diploid pollen plants derived from anther culture of (PGMSR/japonica variety)F1,and can be safely reproduced and produce hybrid F1 seeds under natural day length condition in Shanghai and used as new germplasm in the utilization of intersubspecific heterosis of rice through two-line method. The anther culture of (PGMSR/japonica variety)F1 has a significant advantage in studies on inheritance of photoperiod-sensitive genie male sterile genes,and is a rapid and effective way to improve and develop photoperiod-sensitive genie male sterile lines adapted to different ecological environments.
