电子束和快中子对BGO晶体辐照损伤的研究
A Study on Radiation Damage of BGO Crystals by Electron Beam and Fast Neutron
【摘要】 本文采用加速器电子束及14MeV快中子轰击BGO晶体,通过测辐照前后的γ能谱来研究BGO晶体辐照损伤.通常辐照损伤可随时间恢复,但大剂量快中子产生的损伤无法修复.由于BGO晶体常用作射线探测器,电子束和快中子是常用的射线源,所以本实验的结果具有一定的参考价值.
【Abstract】 The radiation damage of BGO crystals has been examined through the change of the γspectra obtained before and after accelerator electron beam and 14 MeV fast neutron bombarding BGO crystals. Usually, radiation damage could be recovered with the time, but the damage caused by large dose of fast neutron is unrecoverable. The experimental results presented here are valuable for the study of radiation detector, because the BGO crystals and the electron beam and fast neutron are usually used as the radiation detector and radiation source respectively.
