【Abstract】 In order to verify the combined wave refraction and diffraction model based on the mild slope equation, some experimental study on the combined effects of refraction and diffraction behind a breakwater gap over a mild slope under regular wave, single-directional irregular waves and multi-directional irregular waves are investigated in wave basin.
