【Abstract】 Comprehensive status about the investigation on the eco-toxicity of phthalate exters (PEs) was briefly reviewed. The data showed that the rapid toxicity of PEs were low, but PEs of a certain concertration could do harm to human body. animals. plants amd microrganism. The current studies on the uptake and accumulation of PEs in plants were,also introduced. The results showed that PEs could be absorbed by Plants and enter the human body via food-chain.
