【Abstract】 There exists two serious problems in the most hot blast furnaces used in the grain dry-ing system, which are short lifetime and low efficiency. Having adopted the new heat pipetechnique in the new type of the hotblast furnace, authors solved the key problems. This pa-per deals with the design method of the heat pipe exchangers in the high temperature com-bustion gases and the key measures to ensure safe operation of the heat pipes. And the exper-imental research was made in a new type of the hot blast furnace developed by the authors.The results stated that the use of the heat pipes in the hot blast furnaces was feasible and ef-ficient.更多还原
